- HI
-
- I posted a couple days ago about USING an MSD Single Disk Drive with my
- PET...
-
- Well... I have the proper cables, and I'm connecting the drive into the
- proper port on the back of the computer.... BUT:
-
- Whenever I try to load something, the light breifly flashes on the MSD-1
- and I get a "File Not Found" error.... The drive never spins up... just
- sits there... I know the drive works thru the seriel cable, so its not
- the drive's fault (at least I hope not)...
-
- Any clues? I have hooked up the 8050... and it works fine... but if I
- hook them both up (and change the MSD-1 to device #9)... the MSD-1 still
- doesn't work...
-
- Thanks for your help...
-
- And also: How would I go about un- ".lha"-ing the PET files on
- the ftp.funet.fi site? I tried this CS-DOS and it didn't work...
- traditional DOS lhz stuff recognizes the programs but can't un-.lha
- them... And the one .lha util for the C-64 doesn't un-.sfx....
-
- UGH! Any help would be appreciated on this too...
-
- Thanks...
